Using My Umpire
By installing or using the My Umpire mobile app, visiting this website, using the Web Scorer or opening a live score page, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant feature.
Use My Umpire lawfully and responsibly. The app and website are scoring and viewing tools; do not use them to store unrelated confidential or sensitive information.
Mobile app
The mobile app provides offline-first cricket scoring, player records, match history, scorecards, graphs, results, Super Overs, configurable local match rules and optional live score sharing. Core match records are stored on the device and do not require a personal account.
You are responsible for the device, its backups and the match records stored on it. Keep another record when a score is being used for an official competition or formal result.
Web Scorer
The Web Scorer is a free browser tool for quick matches. It supports a short setup, delivery scoring, chase details and a result view without an account or installation.
The current browser match is saved locally in that browser profile. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable because of private browsing, browser settings, storage limits, device changes or interruptions. The Web Scorer does not provide cloud history or cross-device sync.
Scoring accuracy
My Umpire calculates the match from the settings and scoring actions entered by the scorer. It cannot verify whether a player name, delivery, wicket or on-field decision was entered correctly.
The scorer is responsible for checking the score, using undo or redo when needed and confirming the final result with the teams or match officials. My Umpire is not an umpire, competition authority or substitute for an official match record.
Live score sharing
Live sharing lets the scorer publish match information from the mobile app so spectators can follow it through a short code or viewing URL. The scorer is responsible for choosing the team and player information that is published and for sharing the code with the intended audience.
Live viewing is public to anyone who has the code or viewing URL. Do not publish private, confidential, abusive or unlawful content. The live page depends on the scorer's connection, the current live channel and the availability of the connected service.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the app, website, live service or another person's match. Do not attempt to access, modify or publish a live channel without permission, and do not use My Umpire to distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep My Umpire available, but the app, website, browser storage and live service may be unavailable because of maintenance, network problems, provider outages, operating-system restrictions or product changes.
We may improve, change or discontinue a feature. The date shown on this page identifies the current version of these terms.
Third-party services
The app and website use third-party services such as Firebase and link to the Apple App Store, Google Play and other websites. Those services have their own terms, privacy policies and availability. You are responsible for reviewing them when you use those services.
My Umpire is not responsible for a third-party store, browser, network, device or service interruption that affects your use of the app or website.
