Questions about watching a match live?
How does the live code work?
Your My Umpire installation keeps one reusable six-character code. When you start sharing, spectators see the current match on that device. Starting another match replaces the previous current broadcast.
How do I start live score sharing?
Start scoring in the My Umpire mobile app, open Live, and start sharing. The app publishes the live score while you continue scoring normally.
How do spectators watch the match?
They open the Live page on the website, enter the six-character code shared by the scorer, and watch the score update in the browser.
Do spectators need an account or the app?
No. Spectators only need the match code and a modern browser. The scorer needs the My Umpire app to publish the match.
